Vegetable Side Dishes [ Healthy Options]



I have a new method and recipe for vegetable side dishes to share with you.

 These dishes are tasty, quick, and healthy.

If you’re like most people, you may not think about healthy foods, either preparing or eating them.

I consider healthy foods like insurance; I’m hoping that by paying now, literally, for healthier options, that I can push back or avoid serious illness and disease. 

Here’s my new method: sautéing veggies of choice in olive oil.

It literally takes a few minutes to prepare a side dish in this way.

Slice the veggies, throw them into a skillet with olive oil and your choice of seasonings, and sauté until they’re soft. 


That’s it.

Vegetable Side Dishes: 

I’ve tried yellow squash and zucchini. Amazing!  


I’ve tried bagged slaw (cabbage that I didn’t have to cut!) and kale. 


                Delicious, too.        

One final idea: Once you sauté the veggies, you could chill them in the fridge for a different take on a simple side.

I sautéed broccoli florets and then chilled them for about 30 minutes.

The taste is still rich and flavorful, but I liked the softer, cold broccoli, as opposed to the crunch of a traditional broccoli salad.
