I love a no-bake dessert, and I’m sure you do, too!

(Did you miss my Frozen Lemonade Pie? Click here to grab the recipe!)

There’s a minimum of fuss and dirty dishes afterwards, and the dessert is ready to eat sooner.

It’s a win all around!

Do you have any cookbooks that were organization fundraisers? I have several, given to me over the years by several relatives.

This recipe came from one of those cookbooks.

Actually, there were two recipes for something called “Dirt Cake,” and my daughter created a new recipe from them, with a new name.

No-Bake Dessert Recipe:

Take one package of Oreo cookies and smash them. We put ours in a plastic bag, put the bag on a cutting board, and crushed them using the back of a small skillet.

Set those aside.

Mix together the cream cheese, margarine, and powdered sugar.

Set aside.

Combine the pudding, milk, and vanilla and add that mixture to the cream cheese mixture.

Fold in the Cool-Whip and the crushed Oreos and mix thoroughly.

Serve with or without gummy worms!

It took about 15 minutes before we were eating our dreamy dessert, so light, fluffy, and full of Oreo flavor!

If you wanted to be fancy, you could serve this in a flowerpot.

This is a great no-bake recipe to have in your recipe file, perfect for a crowd.

In fact, I’m making this again next weekend for a cousins’ reunion.

Do you have any no-bake recipes to share?

Pin to make later!
