Pepper Jelly Dip Alternatives:
Pepper Jelly can be used in a variety of ways.
When used as a dip, it has a sweet and slightly peppery taste.
I purchased my Pepper Jelly from a local Farmer’s Market.
The vendor supplied me with a printout of numerous recipes and ways to use the Pepper Jelly.
When combined with cream cheese, it makes a delicious appetizer.
It can be used as a glaze on vegetables or meats.
Another alternative is a great topping for bread and ice cream.
One friend of mine plops the Pepper Jelly over the brick of cream cheese and serves it with wheat thins.
I like the idea of individually arranging the cream cheese & jelly on each cracker ahead of time so
maybe it will look a little more attractive.
The presentation is important!

Pepper Jelly Dip Mixing Instructions:
I love this appetizer!
To change it up a bit, I sometimes stir it all together and then serve it as a cheese spread.
I recently hosted a baby shower.
To keep with the theme, I decided to make and mold the cream cheese and pepper jelly mixture to resemble a baby rattle.
Soften two 8 ounce blocks of cream cheese.
Mix thoroughly with an 8-ounce jar of pepper jelly.
Press the mixture into a small round dish lined with saran wrap.
This will form the top of the rattle.
Roll a long circular portion of the mixture to make the handle of the rattle.
Chill until firm and then turn it out onto your serving platter.
Serve with crackers!
I can’t believe how easy and tasty this was!
Everyone will love it.
